I am Nicholas Beinn, or Nik, or N Beinn (I pronounce it to rhyme). I was born in the 1980s, I work as a tax adviser, and I studied politics, philosophy and law at Glasgow University. I have written two novels and I am presently attempting to win a career as a writer. I won the Anstruther Writing Award in 2016, story of the month for November 2016 on abc tales.com and I am shortlisted for the 2017 Scottish Book Trust’s New Writers Awards.
I use this blog to post short stories and talk mainly about cycling. I also like to write about politics, law, philosophy, tax, literature, and films, although you will find scant evidence of this.
